Sarah + Karl

It was our privilege to work with the lovely Sarah and Karl this summer. Their families, their friends, and the whole celebration was just beautiful.

Sarah and Karl met through their mutual love and involvement in marching band. Sarah is a Hoosier and Karl is a Boilermaker, but their love has survived the in-state rivalry! :) I love hearing the stories of those who meet and spend much of their relationship long-distance and then the reward at the end of that long journey is to be with one another every day.

Sarah and Karl, thanks for your honesty, your enthusiasm, and your love for one another.

Sarah had an amazing dress:

I love it when Mothers are overflowing with joy for these moments with their daughters.

What a great looking group of guys! :) They were lots of fun!

And gorgeous girls!

 Sarah, you are so beautiful.

This is always one of my favorite moments on a wedding day:

I was lucky to capture Sarah and Karl immediately after they recessed, sharing a brief moment in the back of the church with just the two of them.

The Mr. & Mrs., in all of their hotness:

Sarah did lots of the decorations herself. I thought the colors were charming!

And I love those hand-painted table numbers! :)

As a gardener, I loved this favor:

The party was amazing. Sarah and Karl are amazing dancers!

I love some father-daughter LOVE!

SO sweet...

Sarah's Dad and Grandfather are in this amazing band which provided incredible music for their dance. It was amazing!

Sarah and Karl, thanks again for your loveliness! Your day was so beautiful!

Thanks also to the artistic team that helped to bring it together!

Heather + Mike

I'm so behind!! :) There's no time like the present to get caught up. ;)

Heather and Mike got married on a hot, windy Sunday in June. Over the course of their wedding planning, we became good friends, and it was an incredible privilege to witness their marriage after 10+ years together. I love witnessing all kinds of love, but when you watch people who have been together for so long get married, it is extra beautiful.

Heather's dress was lovely. I'm a major sucker for lace, and I loved her dark purple sash!

I'm a tall girl, too. I love it when people find gorgeous flats for their wedding day.

Hello, classy bling!

HyVee Floral was responsible for Heather's beautiful bouquets:

Work it!

Heather, why are you so beautiful???

Heather and her gorgeous bridesmaids were troopers on this crazy windy day. Thanks for being amazing ladies!

And more crazy gorgeousness:

While the ladies were busy being beautiful, the guys went golfing!

Mike, you're the man!
They mean business.

And this is the moment where I cry on every wedding day:

The Honey Creek Resort in Moravia was a beautiful backdrop for Heather & Mike's event.

My favorite part:

Heather had all kinds of sweet handmade details on her wedding day. I love the kissing birds!

Her lovely cake was made by Brenda Royer.

I loved these favors. Heather and Mike gave away local honey as a favor. (YUM!)

Congrats you two! Ayron and I have had an amazing time getting to know you and getting to document your day. Much love and hugs. :)
